This haunting memoir follows David through the broken years of his life growing up with his stepbrother Elvis Presley, his calling to ministry at the tender age of 12, and his surrender to that ministry in the destructive years that followed Elvis' death. It details how David suffered desperately from depression and unworthiness, abandoning the ministry and running from God - believing God couldn't possibly have use of such a damaged soul. But most of all, Broken Vessel is the story of God’s undying love for us, and how through His Son Jesus Christ, we can be forgiven, healed and restored to fulfill His glorious purpose in our lives.
